VIVI exists to give children experiencing difficult circumstances the opportunity to take part in activities that allow them to play, create, learn and discover what they enjoy.
Art, sport, music, games and other activities can become opportunities to express themselves, develop skills, build relationships and simply experience something that might otherwise not be possible.
We get to know the child and their interests, listening to their wishes, inclinations and activities they would like to take part in.
We identify the activity that best suits the child’s situation and the resources needed to enable them to participate.
La Levure provides concrete support for the child’s participation in the activity identified, based on the resources available.
A child also needs to play, create, move, spend time with others and discover what they enjoy.
VIVI exists because these opportunities can also have an important role in a child’s growth. That is why we seek to make experiences accessible that, because of the family’s financial situation, might otherwise remain outside the child’s life.
Football, dance, swimming and other sports activities can become a way for a child to move, have fun, develop their abilities and share an experience with other children.
Drawing, music, theatre, dance and other creative activities can give a child a space to express themselves, experiment and discover new forms of communication.
We get to know the child, their situation and what they would like to do.
We assess the activity, the possibility of participation and the resources required.
We identify the resources available to make the activity possible.
The child can finally participate, express themselves and experience the activity they chose.
Many children we meet through La Levure’s other programmes may have wishes, interests or passions that deserve to be heard.
A child receiving educational support through EDUKIT may tell us, for example, that they would like to play football. A child being accompanied through HELP may have a passion for music, dance or another sport.
When we are able to do so, VIVI can turn that wish into something concrete. A supporter can choose to make that particular activity possible by helping cover its costs.
In this way, support is not limited to what is necessary: it can also give a child the opportunity to discover something they love and pursue it.
